Our organic five-spice mix is made from the traditional Chinese blend of cloves, fennel, Sichuan pepper and green anise, minus the cassia (Chinese cinnamon, which is much less aromatic than Sri Lankan cinnamon), which we replace with real Ceylon (Sri Lanka) pipe cinnamon for more aroma.
