Ceremonial matcha tea is harvested and produced entirely by hand in Nishio, Japan. Only young, antioxidant-rich, bitter-free leaves are selected. After a light steaming to preserve their benefits, the ribs are removed by hand, leaving only the tender heart. The dried leaves are then ground between two granite millstones, producing a natural, intensely green powder with an authentic flavor, free from any bitterness.
